Jack Points --

Locations on the underside of a car that are appropriate for the appliance of a lifting jack.

Jack Shaft --

The shaft responsible for transferring driving force from one component of an engine to another. One such example would be a Jack Shaft providing driving force for an oil pump and/or distributor from an overhead camshaft.

Jet --

A component of the carburetor aperture capable of metering the air and/or fuel by restricting its flow into the mixing region of the carburetor.

John Z. DeLorean --

The chief engineer of Pontiac who was responsible for the development of the GTO. John would later be promoted to general manager of Pontiac, and then head of Chevrolet, where he has helped create the Monte Carlo and Blazer.
